John Gibson, Lead Coder on the development of Red Orchestra 2, was recently interviewed by Alex Champanard of AIGameDev to talk about the challenges of developing the AI for the tanks in RO2. The interview discusses some of the production and design challenges of producing AI for vehicles as complex and realistic as ours, as well as some advice for aspiring AI coders.
